MWNote Folder​

This is the path to the folder where all your notes are being saved.

In the chosen folder, three subfolders will be created; active, inactive and archive. These folders are part of the three-part storage system that are built into MWNote.

Cleaner​

This is where you configure how Cleaner will automate the note management. Cleaner uses the modification date of notes to determine their relevance.

  • Move: The first setting determines how long notes should be considered relevant and stay in Active before being moved to Inactive. Default value: 3 months.

  • Delete: The second setting determines when notes are deleted from Inactive. This is usually when your notes are no longer relevant to you or your work. If you need more history for your notes, increase this value. Default value: 12 months.

Cleaner intervals

The Delete interval must be greater than the Move interval.

License​

In order to use MWNote, you will need a valid license. The license can be either a free 30-day trial or a paid full version.

  1. Paste the your license key from the checkout confirmation into the License key field.
  2. Press Activate to enable the license.
  3. Press Save to save the new license information.

Settings File​

All application settings are stored in the settings.json file in the folder %APPDATA%\MWNote (C:\Users\<YOUR_USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\MWNote).
