MWNote Folder​

This is the path to the folder where all your notes are being saved.

In the chosen folder, three subfolders will be created; active, inactive and archive. These folders are part of the three-part storage system that are built into MWNote.

Cleaner​

This is where you configure how Cleaner will automate the note management. Cleaner uses the modification date of notes to determine their relevance.

  • Move: The first setting determines how long notes should be considered relevant and remain in Active before being moved to Inactive. Default value: 3 months.

  • Delete: The second setting controls what happens to notes in Inactive:

    Permanently delete notes after a specified period of inactivity. This is useful when notes are no longer relevant to your work. Default value: 12 months.

    Never delete any files from Inactive. Select this option if you want to keep all notes indefinitely and prevent automatic deletion.

Cleaner intervals

The Delete interval must be greater than the Move interval.

License​

MWNote includes a free 30-day trial that starts automatically when you first run the application. No license key is needed during the trial period.

When your trial license has expired you can choose to buy a full license from Microsoft Store.
