The Cleaner is MWNote’s automated note management system. It organizes notes based on when they were last modified, moving older ones out of your way so you can stay focused on current work.
Opening a note doesn’t update its modified date — only saving it does.

Why It Helps
Without automation, notes quickly pile up — meeting minutes, abandoned ideas, and temporary scraps all stay mixed with current work. Cleaner prevents this clutter by moving unused notes to Inactive and eventually deleting them after your chosen timeframe.
If you want to keep a note permanently, move it to Archive manually. This balance of automation and manual control keeps your workspace clean without losing important information.
